Spring has arrived in the Ozarks!
Spotted Deadnettle (Lamium maculatum) growing wild. Beautiful and traditionally used for anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial properties. Used for bug bites and to stop bleeding.

Where we were staying in Oregon we were able to harvest this wonderful bed of Spearmint! I can’t wait to get back to use it in our teas! Many people use spearmint for benefits which includes enhancement of the immune system, boosting blood circulation, optimize hormonal levels, relieving stress and alleviating cardiac troubles. .
