**BEST PRACTICE: Brush BEFORE breakfast**

If you eat breakfast first:

Great question! We hear this one a lot. Here's the honest answer:

It depends on YOUR dental health! Unlike the old "one-size-fits-all" approach, modern dentistry is personalized to each patient.

We typically recommend X-rays:
๐Ÿ“ธ Once a year for most adults with good oral health
๐Ÿ“ธ Every 6 months if you're cavity-prone or have gum disease (your Dr will let you know)
๐Ÿ“ธ More frequently if you're undergoing active treatment
๐Ÿ“ธ For new patients to establish a diagnosis baseline ๐Ÿ’ซ

Why we need them:
โ†’ X-rays show what we can't see during a visual exam
โ†’ Catch cavities between teeth before they get painful
โ†’ Monitor bone levels and detect problems early
โ†’ Track wisdom teeth and jaw issues

The good news? Our digital X-rays use 90% LESS radiation than traditional film X-rays, which is safer for you! Plus, we can see the images instantly and zoom in for better diagnosis. Sometimes our AI also helps us better identify issues.
