I'm Jocelene, and I'm so honored that you're considering inviting me into this sacred journey with you. At Consena Doula Services, I believe every woman deserves to feel deeply known, empowered, and supported—not just during labor, but throughout her entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum season.
Before anything else, my heart is to truly get to know you.

That’s what our early visits and forms are all about—not just paperwork, but creating space to understand you and how I can best walk with you.

Step 1: Click “Book Now” to schedule your free initial consultation call — a chance for us to connect, talk about your vision for birth, and see if we’re the right fit for each other.
If you feel comfortable and feel like we would be a good fit and we continue talking on the phone,or video calling, or texting and you want me as your doula we will continue onto the next phase.

Our Step 2: First Prenatal Visit – Building Connection
This in-person session is all about understanding you. I’ll bring the necessary forms with me, including your Birth Intake Form, unless you've already completed them and prefer to bring your own. If you didn't then We'll talk through your health history, pregnancy journey, and birth desires, and discuss emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Then we will begin creating a support plan tailored just for you
Step 3: Second Prenatal Visit – Preparing & Practicing
We’ll begin shaping your Birth Plan preferences and practicing comfort techniques. I’ll bring your Birth plan Preferences Worksheet and Doula Agreement form for us to go over together.
Note: If you've already written your own birth plan, you’re absolutely welcome to bring it with you to this visit.
We’ll:
Practice labor positions, breathing, massage, and rebozo techniques
Discuss your partner’s role in birth support
Answer questions, calm fears, and build confidence

Step 4: Third Prenatal Visit – Final Touches Before Baby
In this final prenatal session, we’ll wrap up logistics and focus on feeling mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ready. I’ll bring a Postpartum Intake Form and help you walk through it with care.
We’ll:
Finalize your birth plan
Talk through “what if” scenarios
Review when to contact me during labor and what to bring
Offer affirmations, prayer, or encouragement if you’d like

Step 5: On-Call From 37 Weeks
From 37 weeks on, I’ll be on-call 24/7. You can reach out by text or phone when labor begins—or anytime you need extra support or peace of mind.

Step 6: Birth Support – A Steady Presence
I’ll join you when active labor begins and stay with you throughout your birth experience, offering:
Hands-on comfort
Gentle guidance
Emotional strength and encouragement
Advocacy and support with your birth team

Step 7: Immediate Post-Birth Support
I’ll stay with you 1–2 hours after birth to support bonding, help with baby’s first latch, and make sure you feel grounded and cared for.

Step 8: Postpartum Visit – Reflection & Care
We’ll reconnect within the first week or two after birth. I’ll come to your home to:
Check in on your healing
Talk through your birth experience
Offer newborn tips or feeding support
Go through a Postpartum Reflection Form, if you’d like

Throughout your journey, you’ll have access to me by phone, email, or text—whether you have questions, need encouragement, or just someone to check in with.
