Meal prep isn’t glamorous, but it will save you every single week…whether you’re cutting, maintaining, or trying to build muscle.
And listen… the whole “I don’t have time” thing?
Most of the time, it just means we haven’t made the time yet.
Here’s the reality,
When you walk through the door starving, the last thing you want to do is figure out your macros and cook something healthy. That’s how we end up snacking in the pantry, grabbing chips, or piecing together random stuff and calling it a meal.
Prepping even a few basics changes everything.
You come home, open the fridge, and boom! Your meal…already done.
No negotiating with yourself.
No spiraling into the snack drawer.
No extra stress on an already chaotic week.
If your schedule is slammed, start simple:
✔️ Cook extra protein and veggies at dinner.
✔️ Keep fruit ready to grab for carbs.
✔️ Make “future you” a priority.
Small prep → fewer slip-ups → way better results.

Life isn’t slowing down for any of us. Kids, work, practices, school, holidays… it’s a lot.
But you still get to choose who you become next.
New habits. New routines. New confidence.
Start small. Stay consistent. Watch everything change ❤️

✨Tortellini + Kale Soup!
Obsessed with soup lately and this one has become a favorite of mine ! Let me know if you try it 😄

If you want a lighter option, you’re more than welcome to use half the beans and half the tortellini to lower the carbs.
And if you want to boost the protein, just throw in some shredded chicken, it mixes in perfectly and makes the soup even more filling.
Save this one for the next cold night🍲

Monday is a fresh start
Not a punishment
Not a “back on track” moment.
Just a brand new chance to decide who you want to be this week.

You don’t need perfection
you need intention.

One good meal.
One solid workout.
One choice that moves you forward
Stack those and the week changes fast!!

Let’s make this week count ❤️

Small swaps add up !
If you love a warm cinnamon raisin bagel in the morning, here’s something to think about:
🍞 Thomas’ Cinnamon Raisin Bagel – 280 calories, 56g carbs, 9g protein
🍞 647 Cinnamon Raisin Bagel – 180 calories, 34g carbs, 9g protein

That’s a 100-calorie difference just from making the switch.
Go ahead and add eggs and turkey bacon to hit your protein goals.
Remember, it’s not about cutting everything out…it’s about making smarter swaps that move you closer to your goals while still enjoying the foods you love.

🙄Let’s be real!
These are just scams designed to sell you a product. Fat loss isn’t magic, and it doesn’t happen overnight. It takes hard work and effort every single day!
You didn’t lose weight because of a detox drink or a miracle pill, the real reason you lost weight is because you started eating less than you were.
When people swear that “keto” worked or “paleo, and that’s how they lost so much weight, while that might be true, it worked, and you did indeed lose weight, it wasn’t actually keto, it WAS eating less, which means you were in a calorie deficit.
Fasting? Same thing - calorie deficit.
Low-carb diets? Yep… calorie deficit.
What worked for me?
I found that tracking my food and using the power of tracking to fuel my strength training workouts was a game-changer. That’s what helped me find something long-lasting and maintainable! (not just during weight loss, but for life after weight loss too).
At the end of the day, it all came down to the basics:
✅ Tracking my food
✅ Strength training
✅ Being in a calorie deficit
Stick to what works for YOU and is sustainable for YOU. That’s the real key to long-lasting results. 💪

Did you know that Starbucks recently introduced a protein drink menu? 🙌 They offer both hot and cold options that you can easily customize, and this one I tried was soo good! If you love matcha, this is a must-try. It’s perfect for a post workout treat or drinking while catching up with a friend over conversation. 💚Here’s what to order:Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Matcha Latte➕ Add two Splenda (or your sweetener of choice) for extra sweetness. The macros will vary a bit since Starbucks isn’t always exact with measurements, but it comes out around:➡️28–36g protein➡️5g fat➡️14g carbsIt’s macro-friendly, high in protein, and tastes so good. If you give it a try, let me know what you think AND if matcha isn’t your thing, grab their Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte instead!

This past year has been full of change
Some beautiful, some challenging, but all meaningful. We’ve walked through seasons of loss, career shifts, and the realization that growing older often reveals new truths about life and what truly matters.
Stepping back from social media gave me the space to focus on my family, be present, laugh more, and build memories I’ll never forget. It reminded me of what it means to lean on your spouse, support one another, and grow closer together.
However, recently, I found myself missing coaching, helping others grow, finding balance, and supporting them in becoming the best versions of themselves.
So, I’m back!!!
Back to sharing motivation, daily workouts, and recipes for you to try. I’m excited for this fresh chapter and ready to dive back into what I love most.
I look forward to growing with you all this year. ❤️

Another year down ☀️🌞
We ended summer with an early morning sunrise and breakfast at Redhead Bay ❤️ The weather wasn’t perfect for a sunrise, but the food is always worth it. It’s become our sweet little family tradition the day before school ✨🍳🌅

💪 Why Fats Matter (Even on a Fat Loss Journey)
Let’s set the record straight! don’t make you fat. Eating too much of anything does. But here’s the cool part: your body needs fat to function at its best, especially when you're training or trying to lose weight.
For both men and women, healthy fat levels support your s*x hormones (think: testosterone, estrogen).
Low fats? Say hello to energy crashes, poor recovery, and stalled progress.
• Women need fat to maintain healthy menstrual cycles and balance hormones.
• Men rely on fats for optimal testosterone and muscle-building.
⚠️ Tip:
Fats are super high in calories…. One tablespoon of olive oil = 120 calories.
Compare that to 1 cup of strawberries (only ~50 calories)… big difference

So yes, fats are healthy…but you HAVE to measure them. A little “drizzle” can turn into a few hundred extra calories real quick.
