Our 2024 Joy Home was the most special way to wrap up our year! Thanks to your many heartfelt nominations, we lit up the home of The Howe family.

Brooke and Christopher’s 5-year old daughter, Beckett, sadly passed away in July. Family and friends gathered to light up their home in celebration of Beckett’s beautiful life and the joy she brought all of those that knew her.

Uptown Speech provided donations based hot chocolate and cookies on that special evening. Thanks to generous donations of friends, family and our Uptown Speech families, we raised over $650 to support Outreach: Teen and Family Services!

Our Joy Home and contributions to our philanthropy missions this holiday season continue to remind us just how special our community is! Uptown Speech wishes you and your loved ones a very merry holiday season! ❤️

Welcome to Uptown Speech, Caitlyn!

Caitlyn joined our Uptown team in November and immediately hit the ground running! Caitlyn comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in early language development. She fits right in with our Uptown Speech model, as she prioritizes a family’s needs, goals, and involvement in therapy.

Caitlyn lives right here in Mt. Lebanon (a quick walk from our office!) and is recently engaged! In Caitlyn’s free time, you can find her reading, embroidering, baking, and wedding planning!☺️

Cheers to our growing team of amazing therapists! We feel so lucky!

We can’t wait for Temple Emanuel’s 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive!

We look forward to supporting this event each year! If you haven’t had the pleasure of attending yet, we hope you will this year!

On November 23rd at 10am, we invite you, your friends and family to bring donations to sort and pack together to supply Thanksgiving meals to local families in need! This event is designed for our tiniest volunteers, your children!

We want to make the holiday season a little brighter by lighting up the home of a local Mt. Lebanon family who has experienced loss, tragedy, or illness this year. 💗💗

Class is for kids 3-6 years old. Bring your own mat or towel! Our littlest yogi’s try new poses and various breathwork exercises in a fun environment.

We know we have the best therapists in the world at Uptown Speech, but we’d like to take a moment to brag!

This fall both Ms. Allison and Ms. Claire have accepted positions working at local universities!

Ms. Allison is the Adjunct Professor of the undergraduate Transcription Phonetics course at University of Pittsburgh and Ms. Claire is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Program at Duquesne University! 📚 👩‍🏫

We feel SO incredibly lucky to have such smart, driven, and specialized therapists on our team! Go Claire and Allison!! We are so proud! 👏🏻🥹

Our tiny (and cute!) yogis learned how to calm their bodies, recognize stress, and the power of mindfulness through fun, age-appropriate yoga. 🧘‍♀️

The morning will bring an extra dose of light and love to your preschooler’s day as we get ready for another terrific school year!

Bring a mat, meet a friend, learn some poses!

Class is $10 and proceeds will go to our annual fundraising to support Outreach Family and Teen services .

Our Uptown Speech morning run club will be back at it tomorrow morning! Our group meets every Monday morning at 5:45am in Mt. Lebanon to run 3-4 leisurely miles together.

If you are looking for a relaxed group to run, chit chat, and laugh with, please join us! This is easily my favorite morning of the week and it’s even better with new faces.
