🧠 How Do Emotions Affect Our Tissues? Discover the Connection! 🧠

Have you ever wondered how emotions might impact the tissues in your body? 🌟 In her latest article, Vivien Henderson, LMT, CST-D, dives into the profound connection between the mind and body through SomatoEmotional Release (SER) in CranioSacral Therapy (CST).

Emotions like shock, anger, or fear, especially those tied to traumatic events, can become trapped in our tissues, leading to physical discomfort and dysfunction. Through the gentle, yet powerful techniques of CST, these emotional components can be released, allowing for deep healing and restored balance.

Highlights from the Article:
The story of how a simple go-cart accident led to an insightful journey of healing emotional trauma embedded in the body.
An exploration of how CST can locate and release these "energy cysts," leading to profound shifts in both physical and emotional well-being.
Real-life case studies that showcase the transformative power of addressing the emotional layers within physical injuries.

Good analogy!

Almost 16 years using only Young Living essential oils. Here's a great visual of why all oils are NOT equal.

Best explanation:

“I was talking to a friend the other day and out of nowhere she says, “Okay, I seriously don’t get your obsession with essential oils. We used an entire bottle of lavender over the course of a month to help our son sleep and it did absolutely nothing.”

When I asked her where she got the Lavender she said, “Target. It was 3 bucks in the dollar spot section.”

So here’s the deal friends. I’m gonna say this really REALLY loud for the skeptics in the back. IT MATTERS FROM WHERE YOU BUY YOUR OILS!

I could stand on my soap box and talk about safety and purity for days, but let’s just take a quick look at quality.

Young Living is the ONLY company that can guarantee you’re getting a first distillation batch of oils.

FIRST DISTILLATION?
What the heck does that mean?

Let’s talk about it from the perspective of coffee. We all understand coffee right?

The coffee on the left was the first pot of coffee I brewed this morning with fresh ground beans. That’s a *FIRST DISTILLATION* cup of coffee.

I then brewed another cup using the same grounds as before. *SECOND DISTILLATION*.

Making sense?

I did this four more times using those same coffee grounds getting me all the way to a 6th distillation cup of coffee.

This is what you’re buying off of the shelf of Target, WalMart, TJMaxx, WholeFoods, or any other big box retailer. 6th distillation (or even higher) bottles of oils. On average, most companies are taking these 6th distillations (and higher), ADDING in some synthetic materials, putting them on their shelves, and calling this dirty water, essential oils.

That’s why they don’t work for you. If this was how Starbucks was brewing and serving up your coffee, I’m pretty certain you’d frantically search for a better option.

So if essential oils aren’t working for you, if my posts about them make you roll your eyes 🤷‍♀️because you’ve been there, done that with no success, think about the source and consider a better option.

My Favorite! Tea Tree essential oil
Essential oil enthusiasts crush hard for Tea Tree because the scent is so fresh and the oil is so versatile!
Blemishes be gone. Find your flawless skin by adding a drop of Tea Tree to a cotton ball and applying it directly to the spot.
Rid your room of not-so-fresh scents. Diffuse for 30 minutes to clear the air.
Refresh your clothes. Left the laundry in the washer too long? Add 3-5 drops to your detergent and run the load again for a crisp, clean fragrance.
Step off, stinky shoes! Place a drop of this powerful oil in your shoes to freshen them up.
Say hello to healthy nails. Keep your mani looking polished by soaking your fingers and toes in warm water with a few drops of Tea Tree and 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt.
Soothe your scalp. Mix 1 drop each of Tea Tree and Eucalyptus Globulus to your shampoo. The cooling suds bring cleansing power to each strand.
Invite the freshness of the outdoors in. Diffuse 2-4 drops of this bright, clean-scented oil for moments of vitality and vigor.

PanAway, Deep Relief, and Cool Azul, which oil should you use and when? First off, there is no exact answer for everyone, each person has a different chemical make-up, and each oil reacts differently on every person. Just as some people prefer lavender essential oil to create a soothing and calming environment before bed, others prefer Peace and Calming, and some prefer Cedarwood. Learning to use essential oils is a journey, so try experimenting with different oils to find your best fit! Below is a side by side comparison of these three oils so you can learn the difference and better understand which oil you may prefer to use for specific situations. All three oils are great to apply before and after activity and for a cooling sensation on the skin.
Deep Relief:
Comes pre-diluted in a roller-ball, making it easy to take on the go, throw in a gym bag, and easy to apply.
Essential oils:
Peppermint
Lemon
Balsam Fir
Clove
Copaiba
Wintergreen
Helichrysum
Vetiver
Dorado Azul
Smell: Deep Relief does not have as strong of a smell as Panaway or Cool Azul because it is pre-diluted. Some people prefer the softer aroma. The invigorating, minty smells stand out the most!
Did you know? Menthol is responsible for the cooling sensation Peppermint causes when it is inhaled or applied to the skin!
For more information on Peppermint, Lemon, and Copiaba, Check out Young Living University in the Virtual Office! Under each oil is product micro-course!
PanAway:
All the oils in PanAway are found in Deep Relief. However, PanAway is NOT pre-diluted, making this a very potent and powerful essential oil. PanAway has a childproof cap because of the high amount of wintergreen essential oil. Wintergreen is high in a constituent called Methyl salicylate. Methyl salicylate is used as the active ingredient in many sports creams, but usually from a synthetic source.
Oils:
Wintergreen
Helichrysum
Clove
Peppermint
Smell: PanAway has a refreshing, stimulating and potent fragrance. The wintergreen aroma stands out more than it does in Deep Relief or Cool Azul. Some people say PanAway smells like root beer, this is because wintergreen is actually used to make root beer!
Did you know? Eugenol, the main constituent in clove, has been heavily researched for its beneficial properties.
For more information on PanAway, check out Young Living University in the Virtual Office!
Cool Azul:
Is not pre-diluted and features two Young Living exclusive oils: Dorado Azul and Plectranthus Oregano. Young Living is the only company that sells these two oils, and they are homegrown on Young Living farms! Cool Azul also has a child-proof cap because of the high amount of wintergreen essential oil.
Oils:
Wintergreen
Peppermint
Sage
Copaiba
Oregano
Tea Tree
Plectranthus Oregano
Blue Cypress
Elemi
Vetiver
Caraway
Dorado Azul
German Chamomile
Smell: Cool Azul smells much sweeter than Deep Relief and PanAway. I actually like this aroma the best because it is light but yet uplifting, invigorating and sweet.
Did you know? Grown on Young Living’s Ecuador farm, Plectranthus Oregano has similar constituents and
properties as Oregano, but it is actually in the mint (Lamiaceae) family. It was named by D. Gary Young because of its oregano-like aroma.

**Do you use Release along with Valor?
TIP: Muscles have memory too. Use along with Valor especially before OR after a chiropractic adjustment.
A favorite in my oily arsenal when doing chiropractic adjustments! When you are "unhappy", do you clench up? Well, muscles do the same...... A little Valor then follow with a layer of Release and you can feel things "melting" away......
