Body dysmorphia is real.
At my highest, I weighed 244 pounds. At my lowest, I dropped to 150. Right now, I sit around 155.
Back in January, my size 32 jeans were tight — roughly a size 12. Just this week, I went through my closet and got rid of more than half of it because everything is now too big.
Today, I pushed myself to go try on clothes. What you see here? They all fit — from size 4 with a 26-inch waist to size 7 with a 28-inch waist. 🩵
These non-scale victories are what keep me going. Because, truthfully, some days I still look in the mirror and see the woman who weighed over 200 pounds.
If you're on your own journey, I want to encourage you:
✨ Love yourself right where you are.
✨ Take lots of pictures.
✨ Celebrate the wins that have nothing to do with the number on the scale.
You are more than a number. And you’re worth every bit of love and pride, exactly as you are. 💪💖
