Andrea is a Registered Pharmacist and Nationally Certified, NJ state licensed Massage Therapist. She received her massage training at the Lourdes Institute of Wholistic Studies in the mid to late 1990’s. A trip abroad in 1996 to study TuiNa at Beijing Hospital further broadened her studies. Upon returning she continued as the owner of Main St. Apothecary and spend time in massage private practice as well as the Sporting Club in Philadelphia. Her pharmacy required much of her attention as she placed massage on the back burner. It wasn’t until she closed her pharmacy after 14 years, had two children and went to work for one of the big chain pharmacy retailers
that she realized not only how much she missed massage, but how much people needed it. It became evident that people were relying heavily on medicine and not enough on their own body’s ability to heal itself. She returned to Lourdes, continued additional training, and became Nationally certified. She is an active member of Associated Bodywork of Massage Professionals. She has participated in chair massage events, offers massage to people of all ages and considers home visits to those who are not mobile.
