New Town Dental Mullica Hill is a family and cosmetic dental practice. Dr. John Kupcha has over 30 years experience practicing dentistry and braces.

We strive to constantly improve our knowledge with continuing education so we can deliver the most modern up to date comprehensive dental care to insure our patients achieve their optimal dental health. -Porcelain veneers are one of the most common cosmetic dental procedures. Veneers are custom made thin shells of porcelain that are chemically bonded to each tooth. Once bonded to the tooth, they are very strong. They are designed to cover the front side of tooth to correct stained, chipped, decayed or crooked teeth. Porcelain veneers look completely natural and are virtually impossible to detect. They are sometimes used as "instant orthodontics" for a fast, cost effective alternative to braces. -Braces and orthodontic treatments are used to correct "bad bites" which may be caused by crowded or crooked teeth. In some cases, your teeth may be straight but your upper and lower jaws may not meet properly. Straightening your teeth may be accomplished in different ways.

What can I do for bleeding gums?

Here we go:

Bleeding gums are usually a sign of inflammation (gingivitis) or sometimes early gum disease (periodontitis). They can also result from brushing too hard, certain medications, or medical conditions. Here are some things you can do and products that may help:

🦷 Daily Care Habits
Brush gently but thoroughly
Use a soft-bristled toothbrush (manual or electric).
Brush 2 minutes, twice a day, along the gumline.
Avoid scrubbing hard—gentle circles work best.
Floss daily
Flossing removes plaque and food between teeth where brushes can’t reach.
Bleeding when you first start flossing is common but usually improves within a week or two if you keep at it.
Mouth rinse
Antimicrobial rinses (like Listerine) or chlorhexidine (prescription) can reduce bacteria.
Alcohol-free fluoride rinses (like ACT or Crest Pro-Health) help if your gums are sensitive.
Toothpaste (Look for ones made for gum health: Parodontax, Crest Gum Detoxify, or Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum.)

🛍️ Helpful Over-the-Counter Products
Soft-bristle or electric toothbrush (Oral-B, Sonicare with gum care mode).
