Andie has over two decades of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, Registered Yoga Teacher, and an athlete. She’s an experienced health care provider with decades of athletic experience that offers a holistic approach using nutrition coaching, sports performance and active lifestyle coaching. As a life-long competitive athlete, former NCAA cross country, track and field heptathlete, and former Team USA National and International Triathlete, Andie lives the example of sustainable nutrition, sports performance and fitness. Andie provides in person, Telehealth nutrition and small group personal training and Yoga programs. Andie is a life-long athlete and continues to compete after many years competing in collegiate cross-country, track and field, and USA Triathlon Team USA National and International Triathlons. She enjoys motivating others in wellness and nutrition. In additional to counseling and teaching fitness classes, she served as a nutrition science instructor at the collegiate level and is the nutrition expert and creator of the 8 week “Clean and Green Eating Plan” including 75 plus recipes in Prevention’s book, Younger in 8 Weeks. Andie counsels her patients as a total person and not just their nutrition issue or medical diagnosis; she uses a holistic nutrition and behavioral modification approach. At home, she's passionate about raising her two children with good eating practices and cooking with fresh, wholesome, and nutrient-dense food. She enjoys training for running, triathlon, and obstacle races, teaching and practicing yoga, and shopping at natural food stores and local farmer’s markets.

2025 Thank you! This year taught me something powerful: sometimes the most productive thing you can do is to step outside of your comfort zone to grow.

The unexpected highlight? Meeting Tony Robbins and having an intervention during one of his seminars about my limiting beliefs.

His work and seminars have helped me breakthrough my limiting beliefs I had for myself both personally and professionally.

The biggest shift came when I learned how to consciously move from living by old beliefs to choosing new, intentional beliefs—beliefs rooted in growth, possibility, and alignment rather than fear or conditioning.

That shift changed everything:
• How I lead
• How I coach
• How I relate to others
• And how I show up for myself

When you change the beliefs you live by, you don’t just change your mindset—you change the direction of your life.

Happy Belated National Sports Day with my daughter's favorite new Taylor Swift song 🎶

I couldn't miss celebrating the incredible passion, grit, and determination of athletes everywhere—including my daughter who had an especially challenging time last year after suffering from a bone stress injury resulting in a three month recovery process.

But let's be real: behind the highlights and victories, our sports culture has a long way to go in truly supporting these athletes.

High rates of mental health challenges, burnout, disordered eating, and low energy availity leading to Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) are stark reminders that we're not doing enough.

These issues aren't just statistics they are my MISSION—they're real barriers that can derail futures, stemming from overlooked nutritional needs, intense pressure, and a lack of holistic social support.

It's time to change that. On this National Sports Day, let's commit to raising awareness about the unique nutritional, mental, and social needs of young athletes.

What a fantastic time so far in Nashville! I arrived yesterday and scheduled some sightseeing for my first visit to Nashville followed by a meet up with my Sports Nutrition RD peeps!

Today was day one of sessions and my brain and heart is officially full with new clinical insights and networking.

But today's biggest lesson isn't just about nutrition—it's about balance. As I navigate mom work-life balance and look to prevent practitioner burnout, I know that restoration time isn't a luxury; it's essential. So it's time to put my mantra into practice: Work hard, play hard. 🏊 Sun, and a much-needed recharge at the pool.

I'm officially on my way for in Nashville and here's a confession: For 13 years as an RD, I didn't go to this conference. Big mistake! 🤦‍♀️

FNCE (the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo) is the world's largest meeting of food and nutrition experts, and I realized what I had been missing three years ago when I finally went. It's not just the sessions—it's the power of connection!

I'm already planning to hit as many meetups. Seriously, face-to-face networking with colleagues has been key for my personal and career development. They were fun and invaluable!

Bonus that it's in Nashville! I've never been and so excited to hear all the good music!

It's not one-size-fits-all when it comes to game-day nutrition.

For my 10-year-old athlete: The focus is on Carbohydrates! Why? Because high-intensity sports like soccer use up muscle glycogen (stored carbs) fast.

She needs that quick, easily-digestible energy to perform and keep running all game long. Think bananas, energy chews, or a good ol' low fat granola bar.

For the "Soccer Mom" on the sidelines (Me!): My focus is a little higher on Protein. My workout is usually different (less running, more standing/lifting coolers 😅), and protein helps with satiety and muscle maintenance. Plus, it sets me up better for the rest of my day!
