Who else is having a blast watching the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics? And for me and my family we loved watching the luge!

The Milan Cortina winter Olympics had the first women's doubles luge in history!

They said it couldn't be done, so we had an AI generate it. 😉

Presenting the inaugural Women's Double Luge team for Milan, Andie and Daughter!

Our strategy? Close our eyes and let the sled do the work. The only thing faster than our speed is the rate at which my back will need chiropractor adjustments after it 🤩

Exciting News Update on Dark Cocoa!

Remember that delicious dark cocoa I showed you on Fox29 recently?

Well, it just got even better!

More research is making waves, suggesting that higher blood levels of theobromine—an amazing antioxidant compound found in cocoa and dark chocolate—are linked to a lower biological age by reducing oxidative stress!

This is fantastic news, hinting at potential health and longevity benefits right in your next bite of dark chocolate.

It's another great reason to enjoy your favorite healthy treat!

Who knew something so decadent could also be a secret to slowing aging from the inside out? 😉

I eat a couple squares of dark chocolate every day either as a topping on my yogurt or smoothie bowl or as dessert.

Has anyone tried the 70% dark cocoa chocolate bar that I showed on the Fox29 segment?

ChatGPT: Draw a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.

I think it's hilarious that the first caricature was me as a news reporter and then I asked it to redo it. It then produced a more realistic version.

During the segment, I was highlighting the findings of the new study suggesting certain antioxidants may delay the onset of menopause.

While these findings were promising I want to be realistic, you don’t have to overhaul your whole diet — just small, everyday swaps like berries, colorful veggies, and a few seeds go a long way toward healthier aging and nutrient intake.

Antioxidants act as the body’s defense system, neutralizing free radicals and reducing inflammation. Key antioxidants in the study included:

Vitamin C, Carotenoids, and Zinc

Vitamin C: ≥90 mg/day (e.g., strawberries + red bell peppers)

Carotenoids: ≥6 mg/day (e.g., cooked sweet potato + mango)

By incorporating some of these meals or foods you can make a huge difference in your hormonal health and longevity.

Here's the link to the segment to hear the full conversation and view my meal, snack, and dessert combinations!

Remember one bite at a time toward healthier eating.

Today on Good Morning Philadelphia, I discussed the dietary applications of a new research study published last November 2025 looking at thousands of women, suggesting that the timing of menopause may not be entirely fixed.

While this is an early finding, it strongly highlights the potential for simple dietary changes to improve your reproductive and overall health.

Specifically, a diet high in certain polyphenols and antioxidants—like the Vitamin C and carotenoids found in your favorite colorful fruits and veggies—was linked to a reduced risk of early menopause.

The takeaway is clear: what you eat matters, and your daily plate could be the key to better menopausal health.

Stay tuned here tomorrow for the replay link where I will share which specific foods foods hit these targets and how to incorporate them into meals, snacks and even desserts.

Yes I am saying you can still have dessert!

The time is now to start to turn back the clock on aging ⏰

Here you go 2016 trend! This happens to be one of my favorite videos with the kids while I was running a 5 mile race 🏃‍♀️

What you don't know is that I was a highly competitive runner and surprised myself when I stopped to give them a kiss in the last lap of the race.

My heart pulled me to them 🥰 It was definitely slower and physically harder to stop but so worth it 😄

In this video, I was in the beginning of perimenopause. To be honest with you I didn't even know what that was back then. All I had seen was my mom go through terrible hot flashes during Menopause.

My mission today is to empower women to listen to their body and ask questions to find answers ❗️

isn’t just a “symptom guessing game.”

Running performance, body composition changes, hot flashes, fatigue, sleep disturbances, mood swings, and extra inflammation can all feel like “just part of the season”… but they aren’t the whole story.

Your body is sending data.

And data is something we can measure, monitor, and optimize.

When female athletes hit a performance plateau, we don’t shrug and say, “Just push through.”

We assess. We test. We adjust.

Women in perimenopause deserve the same level of strategic support.

Blood work gives clarity:
→ Is fatigue from low iron or under-fueling?
→ Is anxiety from sleep disruption or hormonal shifts?
→ Is weight change from cortisol or insulin dysregulation?
→ Is joint pain inflammation or training stress?
When you’re a busy sports mom in perimenopause, energy is currency.
You need it to show up at practices, tournaments, work, and home.

Symptoms matter — but labs help us make sense of them.

✨ Perimenopause isn’t something to “suffer through.” It’s something you can optimize for both longevity and vitality. ✨-Andie Schwartz, M.Ed, RD

Especially for the women modeling high performance for their kids.

Because your kids are watching your every move 💪

Tournament-Fueled, Not Junk-Fueled

👉 Sharing our tourney weekend, there are many fast food and convenience options but we do love our Wawa!

👉 Your futsal/soccer player doesn’t need perfect meals.

👉 She needs real fuel—even if it comes from ‘fast food’ places.

⚽ If your child goes from school → practice → games → homework…
home-cooked dinners aren’t always realistic.

The problem isn’t fast food.
The problem is living on snacks.

Meals—even from places like Wawa—can absolutely fuel performance when you know what to choose.

👉 Save this. We’re talking REAL female sports fuel all week.

2025 Thank you! This year taught me something powerful: sometimes the most productive thing you can do is to step outside of your comfort zone to grow.

The unexpected highlight? Meeting Tony Robbins and having an intervention during one of his seminars about my limiting beliefs.

His work and seminars have helped me breakthrough my limiting beliefs I had for myself both personally and professionally.

The biggest shift came when I learned how to consciously move from living by old beliefs to choosing new, intentional beliefs—beliefs rooted in growth, possibility, and alignment rather than fear or conditioning.

That shift changed everything:
• How I lead
• How I coach
• How I relate to others
• And how I show up for myself

When you change the beliefs you live by, you don’t just change your mindset—you change the direction of your life.

I'm sharing some pics of the journey after being part of his partnership and leadership training and my other mentors that have lifted me up. I couldn't have grown without all of you .am.pedird .rd

Ending this year grounded, expanded, and excited for what’s ahead. Let's go 2026!

Your female athlete doesn’t just need more nutrition education and sports performance training.

She needs expert guidance from someone who understands female physiology, performance nutrition, and the mental side of sport — all working together.

I’m creating a small, coached experience for 10 families who want their female athletes to feel:

✔️ Strong in their bodies

✔️ Confident around food

✔️ Resilient under game day and school pressure

✔️ Supported at home

As a Registered Dietitian and Performance Coach, I guide families through a high-touch performance lifestyle experience that blends:

• Science-based nutrition to support growth, strength, and recovery

• Strength & performance support that builds confidence — not burnout

• Transformational mindset and leadership coaching — helping athletes learn emotional regulation, confidence, identity, and how to perform in a powerful state

• Daily habits and family systems that actually stick — on and off the field

This approach doesn’t just change what athletes eat or how they train.

It changes how they think, respond to pressure, and lead themselves — in sport, school, and life.

She'll learn to believe in herself!

🚫 This isn’t a challenge.

🚫 This isn’t generic nutrition advice.

✨ This is coaching for families ready for real, lasting change in 2025.

If this feels like what your family has been missing…
then let’s go.
