We’re making exciting progress on the Mullica Hill tower expansion! 🚧✨ Recently, members of our Board and leadership team toured the construction site to see firsthand how this project is taking shape.

This project is slated for completion in 2027 and will significantly enhance our ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

“I’m an outside Dad again and I tell my kids ‘yes’ to almost every activity they want to do! There’s nothing more beautiful to me than that.”💙

Francisco (Frank) Touzet, a 40-year-old truck driver and a former competitive bodybuilder from Malaga, started to put on weight after he stopped competing some years ago. He said it got even worse during and after the pandemic years. His old relationship with food, aimed at gaining weight and building muscle, no longer served him well. Eventually, at 460 lbs., he had to stop working and said that he could barely walk “from the couch to the bathroom.” Worse, he said, he started to miss out on activities with his children, 13 and 7.

That changed when his wife’s primary care physician connected him with Dr. Christopher Bashian, Director of Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill’s Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Program. In October 2024, Inspira registered dietitian Rachel Altobell helped Frank rebuild his relationship with food. By December, Dr. Bashian performed a gastric sleeve procedure and in less than a year, Frank lost 180 lbs., came off most of his medications, returned to his trucking career, and started walking up to 10 miles a day. Today, he’s back in the gym and back on the field, coaching his kids’ sports teams.
