Our Story

Previously called Cardinal Zumba, Cardinal Wellness is a Ball State University, student-facilitated program that sets the stage for families to engage in rhythmic aerobics (Zumba), learn cooking basics with locally accessible food, and participate in nutrition and fitness assessments. The program provides a safe and convenient place to exercise with child supervision at no cost. The instructors: Monday nights - Juan Toro has been a ZINā„¢ Member since Oct 2014. Come join me, I guarantee you will have a blast!ā€ Thursday night - Laurie Harris- Muncie's finest!!!! I've been a ZINā„¢ Member since June 2009. Her current certifications: Zumba, ZumbaĀ® Toning, Aqua ZumbaĀ®. Laurie is not only an incredible group exercise instructor, but a role model. Come take a class and see what we mean. INCENTIVE PROGRAM

After acquiring a number of points, participants will be given a grocery list that contains ingredients used in Cardinal Zumba recipes along with various kitchen appliances. Participants are able to choose which items they receive based off of the number of points that they have. Cardinal Zumba employees/volunteers pick up selected items from Walmart for participant to receive after their workout that night.
