Our team of health care professionals in Muncie, Indiana offer counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship struggles, or other concerns. Still Waters strives to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Taking a

In honor of Memorial Day, Still Waters Professional Counseling will be closed on Monday, May 25th, as we take time to remember and honor those who have served.

We will resume normal hours, all counseling services, and our 5:15 PM trauma-sensitive yoga class on Tuesday, May 26th.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency while we are away, please reach out to local emergency services or call/text the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Still Waters is deeply grateful for the tireless dedication of our nurses, teachers, police officers, and EMS personnel!

To show our sincere appreciation for Teacher Appreciation Week, National Nurses Week, National Police Week, and National EMS Week, we're offering FREE YOGA for you the entire month of May.

Take this opportunity to de-stress, find some inner peace, and nurture your well-being. You give so much to our community; let us give back to you.

We’re proud to host the Muncie Support & Empowerment Groups, two dedicated spaces for caregivers and the gender-diverse community to connect and thrive.

These groups are student-led in collaboration with Ball State Immersive Learning, free of charge, and designed to provide a safe, welcoming community for adults (18+).

May invites growth, but growth doesn’t have to be rushed.

This practice is a space to root first… so rising feels steady, not forced. Through gentle movement, breath, and moments of stillness, you will reconnect with your body, release tension, and restore your energy in a way that actually lasts.

The weekend is almost here, but we know how easy it is to let a busy schedule carry you away. Often, the person we forget to check in with most is ourselves.

Before you close out your week, try these four simple steps to ground yourself:

🌦️1. Check your internal weather: How are you feeling right this second?

🧠2. Clear the mental clutter: What is one specific thing that has been on your mind today?

⭐️3. Identify a need: What do you truly need in this moment? (Rest, a glass of water, a walk, or perhaps just a quiet minute).

📝4. Make it real: Write it down in a journal or say it out loud to give your needs a voice.
