Happy Graduation Day to all our wonderful graduates, but especially Center for Survivor Supports’s Graduate Assistant, Madison Jones. For the past 2 years, Madison has provided services and support to countless student survivors, presented important education to numerous classrooms and organizations, and has truly been the other half of CSS. She has been the face behind our social media, and has provided advisement and support to our PWAs. She has planned, organized, and advocated on campus and we could not be more proud as she enters the new phase of life. We will miss her sincerely and we wish her all the best in the future. Congratulations, Madison! Thank you for all you have given to CSS ❤️🤍

Join us this Wednesday and Thursday for the What Were You Wearing Exhibit, presented in collaboration with the Counseling Center. The exhibit will be held in Cardinal Hall C and the Rec Center Game Lounge (located next to the basketball courts on the lower level).
What is What Were You Wearing?
This powerful, international survivor art installation challenges the harmful question often asked of survivors of sexual violence: "What were you wearing?" By showcasing re-creations of the outfits worn during assaults, the exhibit confronts r**e myths and emphasizes that clothing is never an invitation for assault.
Counselors will be available throughout the day at both locations for anyone who may need support while experiencing the exhibit🩵

Reporting shouldn’t come with barriers — but for too many survivors, it does. Too often, survivors face silence, shame, and systemic obstacles when trying to report sexual assault. This Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we stand with survivors and recognize these barriers in order to break them down, amplify voices, and create pathways to healing. Let’s break the stigma. You are not alone. You are believed. You are supported. 🩵

March is Women's History Month, a time to celebrate the strength, courage, and contributions of women throughout history. We uplift the voices of survivors, advocates, and changemakers who have paved the way to a world free from violence and oppression.
Survivors are leaders, healers, and warriors. Their stories of resilience remind us that healing is possible and every survivor deserves to be heard, believed, and supported. We honor the women who came before us, those making history today, and the future generations who will continue to break barriers.

This Valentine’s Day (and every day), let’s remember that consent is mandatory, not optional. Listening, honoring boundaries, and ensuring that every ‘yes’ is freely given makes the world a better place for everyone!💌💕
