April is bringing in some fresh spring produce!

If you’re looking to eat seasonally, here are some April produce highlights and easy ways to use them:

• Mint → brightens up everything from smoothies to salads
• Rhubarb → tart + perfect for compotes, crisps, or with strawberries
• Onions → a staple for flavor + gut health. Great to roast, caramelize, or add raw for a kick
• Watercress → peppery leafy green packed with nutrients, which is perfect in salads or sandwiches
• Asparagus → roast, grill, or toss into pasta for fiber + vitamins
• Mushrooms → rich in umami + antioxidants and perfect for adding to stir-fries, eggs, or grain bowls
• Strawberries → naturally sweet + high in vitamin C, perfect for snacks, yogurt, or desserts

Eating in season means you get a better flavor, more nutrients, and often a better deal!

Free program for pregnant individuals to receive support and education!

When you are expecting a new baby it can be exciting, but it can also be scary and lonely at times. However you might be feeling about your pregnancy, surrounding yourself with other moms is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Socialize and interact with local women in similar stages of pregnancy, and learn valuable information to prepare you for motherhood. Facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and Doctoral level student from the Ball State Counseling Practicum Clinic. This FREE program is made possible by the Delaware County Health Department.

As part of my annual newborn and maternity education retreat, I’m looking for a very small number of models to help me practice new techniques before offering them to regular clients.

I’m seeking:
• 2 maternity models
• 2 newborn models
• Sessions scheduled February 9–20th (weekdays)
• New-to-me clients only
• Not currently working with another photographer
