We always remind patients that lip filler metabolizes differently for everyone. Factors like age, lifestyle, metabolism, and even how much you move your lips can affect how quickly the body breaks down hyaluronic acid-based fillers.

While some clients may enjoy results that last 9–12 months, others may notice their filler dissolving sooner, sometimes needing a touch-up as early as 4–6 months. This is completely normal and doesn’t mean anything went wrong—it simply reflects how each body uniquely processes the product.

Even Wendy, our injector, tends to metabolize filler more quickly and requires touch-ups sooner than average. This is a great example of how individualized results can be and why regular follow-ups help us maintain a natural, consistent look tailored to each patient’s needs.
