We wanted to spread some awareness for a term we're seeing a lot of. "Black tumors" are just a slang term for melanoma. This can be dangerously misleading considering melanoma can show up as a variety of colors. It's not He Who Must Not Be Named, let's call it what it is. That way we can stay safe, watch for changing areas, and keep our skin protected!

We are thrilled to announce that the National Psoriasis Foundation is honoring one of our very own, Dr. Drew Anderson, at the Indy Soirée: Disco, Dazzle & Donate. Here at Lifetime Skin Care Centers, we are passionate about the NPF’s mission of finding a cure for psoriatic disease while improving the lives of those affected NOW. This evening is an opportunity for us to bring the community together to do just that. Will you join us?

2025 Indy Soirée: Disco, Dazzle & Donate

• WHEN: Thursday, November 13, 2025
• WHERE: Hawthorns Golf & Country Club in Fishers, IN
• WHY: To unite the psoriatic disease community
• WHAT: This is NPF’s annual initiative in the Greater Indianapolis area that brings together over 150 psoriatic disease patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, NPF leaders, and supporters to raise critical funds and awareness to advance our shared mission - a future free of psoriatic disease.

The Indy Soirée will include a lively cocktail reception, silent and live auction, seated dinner, live music, casino-themed games, indoor putt putt, networking, and an inspiring mission program. It will be a night where the spirit of disco meets the power of giving! This year, we look forward to traveling back in time to the era of glitter, glam, and non-stop funk, so bring out your groovy dance moves and dazzling outfits.
