A New Chapter for Pavilion Pediatric Center

After many years of caring for our wonderful families and children, I am excited to announce that Pavilion Pediatric Center is entering a new chapter. It has been an honor and privilege to serve our community and watch so many children grow and thrive.

As I step back, I am thrilled to leave the practice in the very capable hands of Nicole Rector who has been an integral part of our team for nearly a decade. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to providing exceptional care make her the perfect person to lead Pavilion Pediatric Center into the future.

To our amazing staff: thank you for your hard work, loyalty, and unwavering care for our patients and their families. I know you will continue to create a warm and nurturing environment for all who walk through our doors.

To the families: thank you for trusting us with your children’s care. Your support has been the heart of this practice, and I know you will be in excellent hands with Nicole Rector and the team moving forward.

While I am closing this chapter, I am filled with gratitude for the journey we’ve shared and excitement for what lies ahead for Pavilion Pediatric Center. I wish the entire team and all our families a bright and healthy future!

sleep patterns and tips for helping children sleep through the night:

Infants typically sleep 14-17 hours per day, while toddlers need about 11-14 hours per day
Establish a consistent bedtime routine, such as bath time, story time, and a lullaby or song
Create a sleep-conducive environment, such as a dark, quiet room with a comfortable temperature
Avoid stimulating activities before bedtime, such as screen time or rough play
Encourage physical activity during the day to help children feel tired at night
Offer a light bedtime snack, such as milk or a small amount of carbohydrates, to help children feel full and satisfied
Use positive reinforcement to encourage good sleep habits, such as staying in bed all night
Avoid using screens, including phones, tablets, and TVs, in the bedroom
Consider a transitional object, such as a favorite stuffed animal or blanket, for comfort and security

Be patient and consistent in establishing good sleep habits, and seek the advice of our provider if sleep problems persist
