Have you heard the news?! 🚐🛣️A Mobile Health Unit is coming to Alger County! The team you know and love at Munising Memorial Hospital's Rural Health Clinic will be hitting the road to bring routine healthcare directly to our most rural patients.

The 37' mobile unit is ADA accessible with wheelchair lift. It comes equipped with two fully fitted exam rooms, bathroom, sink, refrigerator, and freezer. It also comes with a generator allowing for heat and air conditioning!

Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements with locations and dates as the Mobile Health Unit begins visiting communities near you!

The Munising Memorial Hospital Association is now accepting applications for the Dr. Donald and Alice Fahrbach Scholarship! This $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in Alger County who is pursing further education in a healthcare field.

Applications are due April 1, 2026. they can be submitted via email, mail, or drop off at the hospital.

⭐️ Employee Spotlight ⭐️

This month’s employee spotlight is dedicated to the “Elsa Storm Crew”! Mother Nature couldn’t conjure up a storm strong enough to stop this group from serving our patients 💙❄️

Over the course of 3 days, this group demonstrated compassion, dedication, and strength. They stayed overnight, sleeping in offices and spare rooms and worked in the kitchen to make sure patients are fed.
