Activity: Outdoor Fresh Air & Light Exercise 🌿🚶🏽‍♀️

Story:
As part of our Flourish Wellness focus, one of our team members and a resident took time during a short break to step outside, enjoy fresh air, and engage in light exercise together.

This meaningful moment reflects what we call a “wellness win,” where the seven dimensions of wellness are applied in real, everyday interactions. Through simple, intentional one-on-one experiences like this, we support our residents’ overall well-being while encouraging movement, connection, and mindful care.

These small moments make a big impact, helping our residents feel seen, supported, and engaged each day. 💚

Activity: St. Patrick’s Day Themed Dining Experience 🍽️☘️

Story:
Today, our dining room was filled with festive spirit as residents gathered to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together. Everyone enjoyed a traditional holiday meal featuring corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes, followed by a delicious Irish apple cake topped with warm custard drizzle.

The laughter, conversations, and shared moments made this more than just a meal—it was a meaningful experience that brought residents together and created a sense of celebration and belonging.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enriching daily life, we are excited to continue incorporating regular themed dining experiences into our schedule. These special meals give residents something to look forward to, encourage social interaction, and create joyful memories centered around culture, tradition, and community.

Today’s activity was full of laughs and a little friendly competition! Our residents played a fun Roll the Bottle prize game. Each person rolled the water bottle across the table to see where it would land and what prize they would win. Everyone was cheering each other on and having a great time watching the bottle roll. Sometimes the simplest games bring the biggest smiles. It was a fun afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and great company. 🎉

🃏✨ Brain Game Fun!

Today our residents enjoyed a fun matching game using playing cards that were cut in half. The challenge was to find the correct top and bottom pieces and put them back together. It was a great way to keep the mind active and teamwork!

🍪✨ Happy National Oreo Day!

Today our residents enjoyed Oreo ice cream while reminiscing about spring and the warmer days ahead. It was a windy day outside, so the wind had everyone looking a little extra breezy but that just added to the laughs and fun!

🎉 Celebrating Our Resident of the Month – Georgie

Georgie was born in Pennsylvania and later made Nashville, Tennessee her home. She is a proud mother of four children and the loving grandmother and great-grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She has always loved music, participating in choir and band, and enjoys puzzles, reading, card games, and spending time with family. She also enjoys Italian food, football on TV, and has traveled to places like Alaska, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal.

When you visit the building, take a moment to stop by the Activity Room and check out our Resident of the Month bulletin board to celebrate Georgie and the wonderful residents who make our community feel like home. 🏡✨
