With a heavy heart I would like to announce that on 7/2/2024 at 6:30 pm the board of directors for the Pike County Recovery Center, Inc held its final meeting and voted to dissolve the nonprofit due to multiple issues but mainly personal and current economical conditions. The Termination of lease agreement was signed and main key was returned to Judge Eddie Howard during this time.
Upon the dissolution of this corporation, remaining assets shall be distributed 50/50 between two local nonprofits. CASA and The Call per unanimous vote.
I want to personally thank this community for your unwavering support to this project. I am admitting that I failed my community but also know that failure is a necessary part of success. It's the lessons we learn from our failures that help us grow and become better versions of ourselves. When we fail, we get an opportunity to reflect on our actions, analyze our mistakes, and come up with better strategies for the future. Possibly in the future when the economy improves, more funding is available for such large corporations such as this and my personal life is less complicated that I can reevaluate the possibility of providing this service to our community.
I sincerely apologize to anyone who I may have let down. Please know it was never my intention to do so. Also know I worked diligently and had the best intentions. It’s been a long 3 years working on this project all to come to a close due to unforeseen circumstances. 💔
Additional details regarding the meeting will be available in the upcoming Murfreesboro Diamond. For any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out it to me directly. Erica Tidwell 870-230-2335.
