Our Patients Are the Very Best!
This week, I was reminded of how awesome and caring our patients are here at Murfreesboro Optical, and I just had to share the story.
Last week, a patient came in and spoke with me while she patiently waited for my husband, Steve (the optician here), to finish dispensing a pair of glasses.
Somehow, we started talking about cataract surgery, and I mentioned that I was scheduled for the procedure the next day. I admitted I was a little apprehensive, even though I had complete trust in the ophthalmologist performing the surgery (shoutout to Dr. Brett Farmer at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic!).
The patient reassured me, saying she had undergone the surgery herself and that it was no big deal. I was touched by her kindness towards someone she had just met.
A few days later, Steve brought home an envelope containing a lovely note from the patient, emphasizing that everything would be fine. I’ve included a picture of the note, as the kind patient had created the beautiful flower artwork on the cover!
This whole experience reminded me of the power of kindness and how we never know the impact our actions can have on others.
Murfreesboro Optical patients are the absolute best!
