Not only is October National Chiropractic Health Month, but it is Breast Cancer Awareness month as well!

Chiropractic care can provide additional support for individuals diagnosed with and being treated for breast cancer. Studies show that chiropractic therapy can help relieve headaches and back/joint pain in persons who have or had breast cancer treatments according to BreastCancer.org.

With this year’s NCHM theme highlighting the importance of a strong musculoskeletal system as we age, we believe that chiropractic care would be a fantastic support therapy to provide some musculoskeletal relief holistically without adding additional medications.

We would recommend talking with your doctor about seeking chiropractic care prior to beginning treatment, but we will always take special precautions during treatment, especially near the sites of surgery, etc.
