What an honor it was to attend the 31st Annual Ruthies Choice Awards tonight!

Fred Johnson Counseling was named a Top 3 finalist in our category. While we didn’t take home first place, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see Branches, an incredible nonprofit, win the top spot. Having started my journey there — first as an intern and then practicing for my first nine years — I feel a deep sense of pride in their continued impact.

Being included among such outstanding providers is a privilege. As just one person in this field, being recognized for my services is a blessing in itself.

It was a joy to see so many local businesses represented and to cheer on friends who took home wins. The whole night was a celebration — of victories, of hard work, and even of the journey that finishes in the top 3.
