Induction Day for new Psi Chi members will be tonight, Monday 4-27-15 at 6:15 PM in BAS-S118. We will perform a small, informal ceremony to induct new Psi Chi members, recognize "Outstanding Members," hold elections for "New Psi Chi Officers" and enjoy a free pizza party!

All officer positions are open for Fall 2015 including:

• President
• Vice-President
• Treasurer
• Secretary

Don't forget...

The Middle Tennessee Psychological Association (MTPA) conference is taking place today, Saturday 4-25-15 from 8:30 AM - 1:45 PM.
Will you volunteer? Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:00 AM.
Students (including Psi Chi and Psychology Club members) are invited to participate in a panel discussion between 12:45 - 1:45 PM. The panel will discuss, Applying to College and What College is like for People who are not at a University.

If you are interested in volunteering or participating in/attending the panel discussion, please RSVP by sending an e-mail to: mtsu.psichi@gmail.com so that we can get an accurate head count.

Social Event - Today, Sat. 4-25-15 (After MTPA): “Board Games” on campus in the Student Game Room at 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. At our last meeting, we voted to attend this free event!

Requesting “Volunteers” for the “Middle Tennessee Psychological Association (MTPA) Conference” taking place Saturday, April 25, 2015. The Conference will take place from 8:30 AM - 1:45 PM on the first floor of the Business & Aerospace Building (BAS), South Lobby.

“Volunteers” need to arrive by or before 8:00 AM to help set up. Dr. Langston is also seeking students to participate in a “Panel Discussion” between 12:45 PM and 1:30 PM. The panel will discuss the topics of Applying to College and What College is like for People who are not at a University.

Psi Chi & Psych. Club are now taking up collections of canned food, non-perishable foods, toiletries & toys for the Murfreesboro Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Program. If you would like to donate to our adopted shelter, please see the attached link to the DVP “Wish List” to ensure you donate the specific items that are most needed at this time. Although Thanksgiving is next week, DVP also needs items for the December holidays as well. With that in mind, we will continue to accept donations up until December 9, 2014.

A “starter” collection box is being held in Dr. Brinthaupt’s office in Jones Hall, Room # 218 if you would like to stop by and drop off donations. Dr. B.’s office hours this semester are Tues. between 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM; Weds. 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM; Thurs. 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
