World Literacy Day didn’t go unnoticed here at the Villages ……we celebrated by bringing in author Marsha Cain. We enjoyed some poems and great conversations. We also had our monthly book club.😊 Thanks again, Marsha!

The flavor of Italy was flowing last night here at the Villages. First, we would like to thank everyone who came to our “Taste of Italy” buffet, and we want to send a heartfelt appreciation for your donations to our Senior Living ministries. Your kindness means so much and is so helpful. Our staff went above and beyond for this delicious event and truly enjoyed serving friends and family. Cheers to great company, amazing food, and good times‼️

Please take a look at our silent auction gift baskets. This is for an amazing cause, our Senior living Ministries , which helps residents and dedicated staff when they need a little assistance and donations are 100% tax deductible. We are taking bids until Friday, September 12. We have five amazing baskets, two spa gift baskets, one cooler gift bag, one Halloween treat basket, and one welcome home comfort basket👍❤️ THANK YOU in advance‼️

Last week we had a lot of fun during our social hour celebrating our sweet Melissa‘s birthday. We also used her birthday balloons and decided to play balloon tennis, definitely lots of laughs during this escapade.Lets give a shout out and big congratulations to our two winners of our fall decor door contest‼️

Our residents and families are looking forward to our Taste of Italy buffet on September 10. We will be having authentic Italian sauce with all the trimmings. We had a great time celebrating all of our birthdays for August here at the Villages during our happy hour  Friday❤️😁
We also took our last trip to the farmers market for the end of the season. We had a blast‼️

We love our bingo, but this week Melissa hosted a prize bingo, which was extra fun, everybody loved the fall inspired gifts ❤️ we also enjoyed making chocolate covered strawberries, and pretzels. You had me at chocolate…………😁 a big shout out to one of our wonderful residents Bob ,for donating a karaoke machine. Looks like we’ve already started having a lot of fun with that‼️ lots of laughs😆

Another PINK PALOOZA end of summer bash in the record books here at the Villages. We had a great time in our pink celebrating our residents and having fun with our resident flamingo, Felicia. Huge thanks to Jeremy from Home Helpers and Autmn from Amedysis. We couldn’t do it without our partners and all their help. We are ready for fall, bring it on‼️
