“My name is Stephen and I have been a patient at Thigpen for several years. I have had hearing loss for a large portion of my adult life that left everything feeling like I was always wearing ear plugs. I never thought I could afford hearing aids, but I found out about a program that would help. After not initially qualifying as severe enough loss, Thigpen helped me through another program to be able to afford hearing aids. As a musician, I remember going to my first concert a couple days after getting my hearing aids and crying because I could hear the different ranges in the music like I haven’t heard for a long time.
