Why is acceptance so hard?

Sometimes we have despair when darkness and destruction overwhelm us. Hope can be diminished but it cannot be destroyed.

We are met in our loss when others dare to ask: What have you dreamed for? What have you yearned for that has been taken from you?

The grief process actually returns us to the strength of hope.
