We aren’t machines designed for constant output. We are humans designed for connection. 💞 If you feel like you’re losing the sound of your own breath in the noise of your responsibilities, this is your sign to take a minute to enjoy something as slow as coffee brewing. ☕️

The Women’s Group Intensive is less than a month away! If you’d like to take your healing journey a step further with other women on the same path as you, reach out to us today and schedule a free consult with Beth Ann Mergens!

We often frame people-pleasing as a selfless act. We’re just “being nice,” right?

But there’s a thin line between being helpful and being controlling. When we try to manage everyone’s emotions and outcomes, we are essentially saying we know what’s best for them better than they do. It’s a heavy burden for us, and a disservice to them.

Still want more on codependency? Join us on April 17 at our Codependency Workshop. Visit the link in bio for more info!

If you’re a self-proclaimed “people pleaser”, save this post for later. 📌

The “fawn” response is more than just being nice. It’s a physiological state where your brain prioritizes the needs of others to ensure your own safety.

It’s time to wake up your fight response 🥊 (aka your boundaries) in a safe, supportive environment!

If this resonates with you, head on over to our events page and sign up for the Codependency Workshop next month! Link in bio 🔗

Helping or hovering? 🧐 In codependent dynamics, care often starts from a place of love but can slowly morph into a way to manage our own anxiety by managing someone else. When we take on the “fixer” role, we aren’t just helping them; we’re often trying to control the environment so we can finally feel safe or worthy.

🌱We are hosting a Codependency Workshop in April! We will be breaking down these patterns and learning how to return to ourselves.
