Gentiva hospice of Murfreesboro, Tn is looking for Administrative Volunteers and Direct Care Volunteers.
Gentiva Hospice is looking for volunteers for direct care volunteers to provide non-medical support to hospice patients and their families. They can provide caregiver relief, light housekeeping, light meal preparation, and/or assist with errands. All these kind gestures will mean a lot to our hospice patients and their loved ones. We are also looking for administrative volunteers to help in the office with filing, answering phones, organization, and putting admission packets together. Background checks, drug screening, and TB testing are all required, however costs are covered by the company. The onboarding process takes about two weeks, from the interview to assignment of a volunteers first patient, as we also provide orientation/ training. If you are dependable, consistent caring, and have great communication skills, this opportunity is for you! No medical background is necessary.

Our Direct Care Volunteers provide non-medical support to the hospice patients and their families. They can provide caregiver relief, compassionate companionship, light housekeeping, light meal preparation, and or/assist with errands. Administrative Volunteers help out in the office, filing and answering phones.
