🩺 The role of the RN in ECMO continues to evolve. The ECMO sessions alone at AACN’s upcoming NTI 2026 reflect how much is changing; from ECPR and pediatrics to mobility and ethics.

But one thing hasn’t changed:
ECMO doesn’t work without nurses who can manage both the circuit and the patient in front of them.
