Another semester of Midwifery school complete 🙌🏽!
I have 4 weeks off! I’m going to make this a break of some self care, mental resetting, family time, & relaxation!

I enjoyed getting baby snuggles, feeding, & putting gorgeous Ruby to sleep on our visit. it’s always good to see your face & have real talks. You are a Super Woman. I’m so proud of you & your strength in all the roles you play (mom, wife, student, friend, & more). Thank you again for trusting me to guide you on your pregnancy & birth journey.
Don’t forget to continue to pour completely into you, so you have a cup to pour into others from! I look forward to that future lunch date! Love you💕

I always say these postpartum well check visits are so bitter sweet! I get to see how my doula families are doing mentally & physically with those sweet babies.
These 2 are thriving & loving parenthood!
Let me just say that you showed so much strength & determination during your birth. Incase you forgot, this is your reminder that you’re a SUPER HERO!! thank you for being so supportive through it all. We make a great team. You both are doing great ♥️ Love y’all 🥰

The Postpartum well check visits are always bittersweet, b/c it’s the last visit with my families! I’ve been & doula for both of their sweet babies, so these moments are extra special. It means they trusted me enough to hire me twice, and I’m forever thankful💕 You guys are absolutely family. May God bless continue to your family! Love you all 😘

✨ BIG NEWS! ✨

I’m beyond honored to share that I “NEO GENESIS DOULA” has been named Rutherford County Parent Magazine’s “BEST DOULA” winner! 🏆💜

This came as such a surprise! I didn’t even know I’d been nominated! I later found out that the nominations came from readers, clients, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and local offices. That means the world to me. It’s proof that when you serve people with love, integrity, and respect, your work speaks for itself.

When I received the email on October 6th saying I’d won (and had to keep it a secret until the November issue!), I was in complete disbelief. This recognition is such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.

For over 7 years, I’ve poured my heart into supporting families and making a positive impact in maternal health, while steadily doing the work one birth at a time.

To every client, family, friend, and community member who has supported me, referred me, or simply believed in me, THANK YOU. Your trust and kindness never go unnoticed.

The final visit with doula clients are always bitter sweet moments! I’m so thankful that I was able to guide the Myah Family through 2 pregnancies of their beautiful girls💕

Thank you both for always trusting me to do this work, be a voice for you, & be on your birth team! The beautiful flowers smell heavenly & your card was so thoughtful!

My Saturday morning/afternoon was spent practicing suturing skills taught by one of my Fav Midwives !

Thank you for hosting a great session. I learned some things & enjoyed it! It was great learning in this session with my preceptor too!

🥰 Happy Midwifery Week🥰

Happy Midwifery Week to all the incredible Midwives and Midwives-in-training! The work we do truly changes lives.

Balancing full-time midwifery school and training while also serving as a full-time birth doula is no small task. Exhaustion is real, but so is the joy. Every birth reminds me why I’m here: this work is sacred, humbling, and deeply rewarding.

Stepping into the Primary Midwife Under Supervision role has been an incredible milestone. After over three years of studying, training, and growing, I’m still in awe of how this calling continues to shape my heart and purpose. Witnessing new life enter the world and the powerful strength of birthing families is the greatest honor.

✨ I’m now accepting clients for home births as a Midwife Under Supervision, guided by my amazing preceptor, .birth.services . If you’ve been considering a home birth, let’s connect and see if it’s the right fit for you and your family.

🤗 And just like that, all of my October doula clients have birthed their babies!
I’ve attended 9 births in a month.
I get a month off from doula births, but do still have midwifery client births with preceptor.
I plan to get some type of self care time♥️
