I asked God to give me @ least 24 hours to rest between any upcoming births, & he did just that🙌🏽

Doula baby girl #188 came Tuesday right @ home & baby boy #189 decided to make his appearance today with great nurses & support! Both of these mamas worked HELLA hard to meet their babies! So proud of you both!
Birth is so Tough, but you mamas are so much tougher! So proud of your strength 💪🏽♥️

🙌🏽 And just like that, another term of Midwifery school is complete🥰. 15 days off, & another term begins! I’m going to enjoy this mental break to find some relaxation & self-care before I’m back at it. 💪🏽

🎉7 YEARS DOULA ANNIVERSARY🎉

🙌🏽Today marks 7 YEARS of me walking alongside families as a birth doula and 187 beautiful babies earthside!🙌🏽

Seven years of holding space.
Seven years of tears, joy, strength, and surrender.
Seven years of fierce advocacy and gentle presence.

From the first contraction to the first cry, it has been my honor to coach, educate, and support 187 parents as they welcomed new life. Each birth has taught me something new and sacred. Each family has left an imprint on my heart.

Thank you to every client who trusted me to be a part of your journey. You’ve made me the doula I am today. ♥️

A gorgeous 7lbs 3oz baby girl was born today 💕 Mom is a Freakin Rockstar! Induction began at midnight & baby was born @ 12:51pm! Pretty quick for a first time birth. So proud of you mama!! 💪🏽🙌🏽

💕Welcome Mother’s Day doula baby #178 💕

Happy 1st Mother’s Day to my client! 🥰

I spent Saturday afternoon until about 4pm today guiding a new mom through labor! She was blessed with her first baby on this special day. Even though I did miss time with my family, I was blessed to assist a mama work hard through 3 days of labor & witness new life be born into this world. I’ve been up over 24 hours, but it was worth it. This husband & wife became parents today, & I’m thankful I could be of assistance on their journey to parenthood on Mother’s Day!

Thank God for always guiding me to carry the load of being a doula, mom, midwifery student, wife, & all the many hats I wear. This work is definitely a calling.💕

I officially passed my Phase 2 competencies, exams, & assessments—& I’m one step closer to becoming a MIDWIFE!

⁣527 clincal hours
250 Prenatal Exams
60 Postpartum Exams
23 Newborn Exams
5 babies caught as a student midwife this semester
Over 200 births attended as doula/midwife assistant/midwifery student

This semester was tough—10 births in one month, nonstop studying, and so much growth. But I made it. God is faithful.

Phase 3 starts in September, where I’ll be catching babies as a midwife under supervision! Let’s gooo!

Rest matters. The work I do matters. And I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
