Thank you to all the service men and women, who are currently or have retired from service to our country. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have given to protect our freedoms! We especially remember today, the heroes who have given the ultimate sacrifice of their life for all Americans. 💙

Miss Alissa is the newest member to join the OT team at the SLLC! She was a fieldwork student prior to joining our team after graduation this past summer, so she is familiar with the way things run around the office! We were happy to make her an official member of the team and jump started her career by having her cover maternity leaves of our fellow OT team members Miss Alex and Miss Maddie. She had made the transitions as seamless as possible—allowing our clients to still receive services and have our clinicians spend deserved time with their new babies! We are thankful she agreed to be apart of our crazy team! You will get to experience her southern sweetness around both the Columbia and Boro offices a couple days a week for now—until we figure out the right permanent placement for her in the future! Welcome Miss Alissa, we are SO glad you are here!

Miss Mackenzie had been with the SLLC since 2023! Prior to her transition to working for our Columbia and Boro offices, she had been one of our graduate students! Miss Mack brings a stylish and creative flair to our team and just has a knack for finding ways to connect to our kiddos. Everyone loves spending time with her quick wit and down-to-earth presence. You most likely will find her surviving on caffeine and looking flawless [how does she do it?!]. She also was a huge help in our initial integration with providing TEIS services and opening up the Boro office. She is busy supervising, educating and treating in both offices a couple days a week!

Favorite OT Activity 🧩🎲: Crafts, all day, every day. They are so multi-functional to target a variety of skills at once!

Miss Maddie has been with the SLLC of TN since 2021. Prior to working at the SLLC full-time, she completed one of her two level 2 fieldworks at our office! She mastered teletherapy early during her FW due to COVID. We were so blessed to have her at the office then and NOW! Miss Maddie played a large part in getting our Murfreesboro office up and running—including helping Miss Becky find a location and promoting our clinic to area doctors! She had been splitting her time between both office, until just recently when she had a big life change, she became a MOM! Following her maternity leave, you will find her spending a few days a week treating in the Boro clinic and helping with program development/leadership within our sister office! We are lucky to have her smiling face and positive attitude at either office! 😁

Happy Easter ✝️🐰🐣

We had the best time celebrating all things Easter at the clinic—making bunny ears and Easter baskets to to sorting jelly beans in OT to reading books about Easter! What an enjoyable time for all!
