🚨 Dryer Vent Mistake We See All the Time
Using a “double 90” to change direction in a dryer duct.
Two sharp 90° turns drastically restrict airflow — which means slower drying times, excess lint buildup, and a much higher risk of clogs (and even fires).
âś… The fix?
Swap it for a “double 45” setup.
Most adjustable elbows can be rotated from a full 90° into two smoother 45° bends. That simple change creates a much better airflow path for lint to travel through.
Better airflow = safer dryer + more efficient drying.
If your dryer is taking longer than it should, this could be why.
