Hello everyone!

I just wanted to let all of you know that my stepdad passed away peacefully Saturday the 28th. We have been busy getting funeral plans going and coming up with an "exit strategy" for me.

While I will be coming home soon-ish, I will most likely have to come down here and there until all the estate stuff and home repairs from the flood is settled. However, I'll be back with you guys for a while and won't be gone but a few days at a time.

Good morning, everyone!

I just wanted to give you all an update on things. Unfortunately, after almost three weeks bouncing from CVICU, to ICU, to PCU, then back to CVICU, we have had to move our stepdad into Hospice care. We chose to move him to a facility rather than keep him at the nhospital, and it was the best decision we could’ve made. We were leery about transporting him but he was stable enough. The facility is wonderful and they are treating him like a King, so my brother and I are much more at peace about it all.

As far as a timeline for returning, I have none because the tables turned. We do not know when our stepdad’s time will come. Also, last Friday his house had a sewer backup and flooded half of the house while I was at the hospital with him. So we are dealing with that as well. I’m shooting for the second week in July but I do not know if that will happen, considering my brother and I are all our stepdad has and, thus, are in charge of everything and I can’t lay it all on my brother (at least right away).

I sincerely apologize for the uncertainty of things, but I will keep you updated and you’ll be the first to know when I get home! This is one of those situations where you just have to let go and let God. I have zero control. 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for understanding and I’ll see you all soon. Maybe. Maybe not. But eventually! 😂

Seriously though, to my existing client family, if you have to move on I totally understand. I just want you to be healthy and taken care of. It was a pleasure serving you. ❤️

So I just discovered goulash like three months ago lol. I had no idea where this had been all my life, and I’ve been going on and on about it ever since. I make it probably every couple weeks and I whale on it. I never NOT want it 😂 So when I left the hospital this evening I went to the house and made goulash with salad and ranch biscuits. I did an Instacart order for the ingredients. I packed it all up and went to my brother’s house and we all ate. I had no biscuit cutter but I found that my niece’s old princess cup (she’s 17 now and touring colleges 😳) and it worked perfectly!

Jim is still in ICU (8 days so far). Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I miss you all.

Dear Beloved Clients and Potential Clients,

My pneumonia has gotten better, despite remaining congestion. It’s just the crud that has been going around that will take time to go away.

However, I have had to take an additional unexpected “leave” from my massage practice that could last until July. My elderly stepfather back home has fallen ill and has been in the ICU since Monday and I’ve had to leave to go help out.

I truly apologize, but family must always come first. I WILL BE BACK THOUGH, I PROMISE.

Okay so I’m two days late in my big announcement, lol! Had to make sure we had it squared away.

Anyhoo, beginning April 1st, in addition to my regular hours of availability Monday through Friday from 9-5, I will be available for appointments Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings!

The latest appointment available Tuesday
And Thursday will be 6:00, while appointment availability Saturday mornings will be from 9-12, with the lates appointment being 11:00. This Is to try to accommodate my working clientele.

PLEASE NOTE: The Saturday hours are by appointment ONLY, so they must be booked in advance. No same-day availability. These sessions also must be paid at the time of booking, INCLUDING THE EVENING APPOINTMENTS. I am also unable to process refunds, so in the event of a cancellation or no-show, you will simply have a credit for when you reschedule. Thank you for understanding.
