🌊🥾An excellent walk at the Nantahala Bikeway this morning! We paralleled the rafters along the river with some beautiful views!

This Wednesday at 10:00am we will be at the Nantahala Bikeway, meeting at Beechertown Parking off Wayah Rd. 📞(828)837-2210 for more info or an email with directions. This trail is paved and mostly level. Great for all levels of walkers. 🥾

Walk with us on Wednesday, July 23rd! We meet at the pavillion across from the Rock Gym in Murphy (699 Connahetta Street). All adults are welcome! Walk starts at 10:00am.

Today we took the Fisherman’s Loop past Leech Place to the Train Depot and back (around 2.5 miles). Digital Skill Agent, Danny Ferreira from the N.C. Cooperative Extension educated us on the MERLIN phone app from Cornell University in NY. We used MERLIN to identify birds by listening to their sounds. Such a fun and educational time, thanks to all that walked with us!
