Circles of Grace contributed to a tree for The Festival of Trees this year, and we feel honored to be a part of this beautiful and important message. The tree is titled "Gone but not Forgotten" specifically honoring those who struggled from mental health and those we have lost to su***de. Each ornament honors someone lost to su***de and each present under the tree is a wrapped gift of something they would have wanted for Christmas. The tree is located at Q11. Check it out if you go this year!

As much as we would like it to be, life is far from simple or linear. Taken as a whole, it is maybe best seen as a mosaic of moments; some challenging, messy, or even heartbreaking, and others joyful, energizing, and deeply satisfying.

Therapist Profile
Therapy can be a safe space for those of us looking for support in navigating these ups and downs. It provides us with an opportunity to develop the tools that lead to a sustained sense of peace and purpose. As a therapist, I work hard to give my patients skills and frameworks that lead to deeper healing and fulfillment in their personal lives. I believe each of our life experiences is best described as personal “curriculum” for us to learn and grow.

It is my belief that while we do not always control our circumstances, we can better navigate this “curriculum” as we learn to approach our lives with increased compassion, self-forgiveness, and love. It is the joy of my professional life to be able to share the experience of my patients moving away from a fixed mindset into a more compassionate growth mindset towards healing.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with master’s degrees in both Clinical and Spiritual Psychology. I work with a wide range of patients including but not limited to those experiencing depression, anxiety, betrayal trauma, sexual compulsion / addiction, faith journey, couple’s issues, and self-compassion. My specialty trainings include Emotional Focus Therapy (EFT) for couples, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma work, and psychodrama and somatic work.
I have been married for 37 challenging and beautiful years, I enjoy my wonderful children, my amazing grandchildren and 2 willful dogs. Outside of my fulfilling, therapy practice, I love traveling, learning, being in nature, painting and spending time with the people I love.

Rebuilding Trust and Making Repair - It is not impossible to repair the damages caused from betraying trust in a relationship. Both partners need to realize that repair and healing take time, dedicated effort, and a lot of grace. Circles of Grace can help you navigate this challenging path.

Everyone needs and deserves to be fathered. It is a crucial part of human development. On this Father’s Day, we give praise and love to all father figures who rise to the occasion. We also give love and compassion to all those who struggle in their roles as fathers, or who have received wounds from father figures in their lives. We see you. We understand.

The discovery of a partner’s addictive patterns and behaviors leaves a complex set of obstacles and challenges that the betrayed partner has to navigate. Broken trust, profound heartache, and shattered confidence are a few of the unfair, but common byproducts that occur as a result of your partner’s choices and actions. The trauma experienced by the betrayed partner is multifaceted and can manifest emotionally, psychologically, and even physically.

Our intention at Circles of Grace Clinic is to assist our clients to feel safe enough to fall in love with their lives and to risk living fully. For over 30 years we have walked along side individuals on their journey towards wholeness and change. Recently, as a clinic, have made some changes to support “best practices” in treating trauma, we even changed our clinic name from LifeStar of Salt Lake to Circles of Grace. We love life and we embrace living fully.
