Thank you…
WKCR 2025 was a great one! We can’t possibly thank everyone who had a hand in making it successful, but we would be remiss if we didn’t try. Thanks to the more than 2,154 people who passed through our gate. These folks represented 13 different states! Thanks so much to the spectators who have made WKCR an annual fall trip from their homes in Ohio, New York, Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. We met many of you personally on Saturday, and we’re honored you choose to spend your time with us in Murray, Kentucky. Whether you live 10 minutes or 10 hours from the ranch, we appreciate you for coming.
Thank you, Jennifer Wyatt and Tiff Griffith—for timing the races for our announcers and for timing pasture roping both days. Thanks also to the beautiful, genuine soul of Sydney Armstrong McGrew for helping the kiddos on Saturday morning and for running it like a pro! I can’t leave out Addie Wyatt who was a great help to the dozens of kiddos who flooded the round pen to make “cowboy pumpkins!”
Thanks to the variety of BLUE SHIRT guys who were always so gracious when our hardworking Mom (Janice McCuiston) and everyone else asked for help with moving, pulling, hauling, or lifting the ten dozen things we needed done. You guys are incredible, and we love you more than you know. The BLUE SHIRTS were literally at every corner of the ranch accomplishing tasks that no one else but you would notice or consider. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.
Thanks also to the gritty ladies who participated in the LADIES RANCH RODEO and RAISED $3,200 FOR ST. JUDE! You came to play, and we loved watching you have fun for a great cause. Thank you, Darrell and Dana Beane, Jeremy and Brittany O’Bryan (and their sweet helpers!) for your generous time, and to Shane and Amy Lambert, Carlton and Erika Tucker, and ALL the wonderful Hancock County friends for raising $4,500. Special thanks also to Deana & Ricky Chadwick, Terry Martin of H & R, and Jennifer Wyatt for working so hard for our auction. Thanks so much to each and every generous person who donated or purchased auction items. Our final total is $41,685!
Thanks again to RaShae Davis for your generous donation to help our precious Brooks boys and to Alesha James and her sweet girls for selling tickets all weekend!
Lastly, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our sponsors and racers who have become like family to us. Those of you who sponsor us silently cheer us on, and we feel your belief in us. To the Arkansas Chuckwagon Racing Association and all the racers, thank you for coming all the way to the Bluegrass (and our beloved Calloway County) year after year and for putting on one heck of a show for us. We love you!
Until next year, ya’ll…God bless each of you!
