💪It’s Day 11 of Strong by Spring and today’s lifts are all about building strength that carries into your daily life.

🦵Goblet squats support full-body strength, better posture, and confident movement through your hips and legs.

🧑‍🌾Farmer’s Carry Step-ups challenge your core, grip, and stability while training your single leg strength as you move with control under load.

🔙Back extensions strengthen the muscles of the backline that help you hinge, stand tall, and protect your spine.

Every exercise in today’s workout requires your core to stabilize and support your spine.

Your abs are working the entire time, just in a more functional way that carries over to better posture and movement.

We also pair a two-leg strength pattern (bilateral) with a single-leg pattern (unilateral). This helps build power while also smoothing out imbalances between sides, which is huge for joint health and confidence in movement.

The intention today is simple: train your body to feel capable, steady, and strong in the movements you use every day.

Strength that supports you outside the gym.

💪Today is Day 9 of Strong by Spring💪

The bicep curl and tricep extension target the muscles that support your everyday actions like lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying with more ease and control.

Using machines helps you build strength safely, learn proper muscle engagement, and create balance around the elbow and shoulder joints. As your arms get stronger, you’ll notice better performance in workouts and more confidence in daily movement.

🤩Day 5 of our 12-week program Strong by Spring and we are adding four new strength machines.

Machines help guide proper movement patterns while creating constant tension through the full range of motion, which is ideal for reinforcing strength symmetry, improving joint health, and supporting your long-term progress.

🦵Leg extension strengthens the front of the thighs, which supports walking, stairs, and getting up from chairs.

🦵Leg curl strengthens the back of the legs, helping protect the knees and support the hips.

💪Shoulder press is a vertical push, building strength for reaching overhead and improving shoulder stability.

💪Lat pull is a vertical pull that strengthens the back muscles, support posture and help counter any forward-rounded positions we sit in during the day.

Pairing opposing muscle groups in one workout can improve neuromuscular balance where your muscles learn to better work with each other, improving strength output and reducing strain over time.

Swallowing is more than just taking a bite.

It’s a coordinated process that helps keep food and liquid moving safely where they belong.

If swallowing feels difficult, your doctor may refer you to a speech therapist to assess how those muscles are working together and to support safer, more comfortable eating and drinking.

To be seen by our speech therapist, talk with your doctor about whether a swallowing evaluation is right for you.

It’s Day 3 and our main lift today is the Leg Press! 🦵
Remember to rest in between sets ~minute, and see if you can increase the weight on your second set (while maintaining good form and steady knees!)

It’s been great seeing everyone’s results and comments in the app… keep it up!! 💪

💪Congratulations to everyone who completed DAY ONE of STRONG BY SPRING with us today!

It was a quick one, and we hope you enjoyed it! (Don’t forget about the 15 minute cardio) Every lift day will have 2 workouts: the main workout with the lifts and then a separate cardio workout you can do at another point in your day! They can be performed back to back if you prefer.

👉Remember this is not an ALL OR NOTHING challenge.

The aim is to bring some structure and intentional progression to your workouts.

You can do them all but you’ll also STILL get stronger if you only complete 2 of the workouts each week. (Or if you start late 😉)

Do what you can. Have fun.
