We are proud to be members of Strong Families, Strong Children, having spent years fostering relationships built on support and trust. Today, Akahina Group, Akahina Home Care, Akahina Wellness, and Akahina Gives Back Hope Foundation stand united in partnership with Strong Families Strong Children God’s timing is perfect. We were blessed to celebrate our first Military Child Giveaway Backpacks event in Murrieta, CA. It was heartwarming to see 100 kids, accompanied by their parents, joyfully picking up their backpacks and school supplies. Witnessing the outpouring support from the community for our military children was a beautiful experience. A special thank you goes to V.O.W Vettes Out West and CALVET for their generous donations of school supplies and backpacks 🎒

A wonderful day of celebration awaits, and we are inviting you! We are so happy to announce our official ribbon-cutting ceremony on 4/4/25 at 4:00 PM. Located in Riverside URGENT
Looking to hire a caregiver bed bound experience is a must.
Tuesday- Friday.
Shifts will be will be 5 hour shifts split 2 hours in the morning 10am-12pm and 3 hours at evening 6pm-9pm.
This will be care for 2 clients in one home which includes a bonus on hourly pay rate. Weekends also add another additional bonus.
Clients have allergies to dogs, cats and smoking which means caregivers must not have pets or smoke.
Must be committed and show up to your shifts on time and everyday and be willing to back up your other caregivers if for some reason they cannot make it to their shift. It is essential there is always someone going to the shift clients cannot be left without care.
We are looking for a Caregiver/CNA for our client's. This would be personal care which includes:
Provide clients with ADL assistance - Activities of Daily Living; personal hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, un******ng, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, very light housekeeping, companionship.

Is home care of a nursing home the right choice for you or a loved one?

There are things to consider when deciding between the two. Here is a quick comparison between them.

Home care gives you more personalized attention, more one on one time with a caregiver. While being in a nursing home, you usually have to share a nurse with other residents.

Receiving home care often allows for more flexibility compared to a nursing home. You get to create your own schedule, when you want to be cared for, with home care. Since home care allows for you to have more personalized care, you get more flexibility on what goes on in your day as well, as opposed to a nursing home, where you usually follow the homes schedule.

Studies have found that home care is typically cheaper and more affordable than nursing homes.

And lastly, think about where you want yourself or your loved one to be cared for! Do you want to stay in the comfort of your own home, where you built memories for years? Or would you prefer to live in a nursing home with other residents?

Here are some fun activities for seniors who have to stay at home!

1. Do a puzzle: Puzzles are also a great way to improve brain health, for all ages

2. Garden: Don’t forget the sunscreen! Gardening is a great way to reduce stress, and allows seniors to enjoy the fresh air.

3. Cook something new: try a new recipe, or maybe a family favorite! You get to enjoy the tasty meal afterwards as well!

4. Read a book: reading is one of the best things you can do for your brain health! Read a fun book, newspaper or magazine!

5. Learn something new: Learning keeps the mind busy. Learn a new craft or skill!

6. Take a walk: if able to, take a short walk around the neighborhood. Enjoy the weather and make sure to bring water!
