Today we recognize Juneteenth, a powerful moment in history marking the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865 and more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas finally learned they were free.

At CPCMG, we are working towards a future where every child grows up in a world that celebrates equity, dignity, and compassion. Juneteenth is a reminder of the progress made and the work still ahead in ensuring that all children and families receive the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
