As you may have heard, the governor has basically shut down the state of California. The governor’s order is as follows:https://covid19.ca.gov/img/N-33-20.pdf

In the order there are 16 sectors the governor deems too important to close. These are listed here: https://www.cisa.gov/critical-infrastructure-sectors

Of course, the healthcare industry is one of these sectors so our office will continue to be open.

CORONAVIRUS - For patients who show symptoms of 1) dry cough, 2) fever, 3) shortness of breath, and 4) you have recently traveled or have been in contact with someone who has, we recommend you stay home until your symptoms subside. Get rest, drink plenty of fluids and limit contact with other people. There is no vaccine or specific treatment at the moment. Care is supportive and we can only treat the symptoms. If you have 1) difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, 2) persistent pain or pressure in the chest, 3) new confusion or inability to arouse, 4) high fever or 5) bluish lips or face, please call 911.

We urge our patients to obtain information on Coronavirus from reputable sources such as the Center for Disease Control (cdc.org), WebMD (webmd.com), or FamilyDoctor.org.

We are currently looking into using technology such as telemedicine as a way of treating our patients without them having to come to the office.
