I try and keep this page to just my piercing work and shop events however when I took this comparison photo, I felt compelled to share…hopefully to motivate the next person who is struggling with their health. Its hard to believe Im gonna be 50 years old in a few months and Im so glad I spent the last 8 months getting my body ready for the next decade which my doctor has warned can be challenging if not in shape. I have now hit my goal weight (shed 45lbs and 8.5” off my waist), gotten off my blood pressure medication, my labs are better than when I was in my 20s and Im taking my life back. My crappy health put me in near financial ruin with many many months of not being able to work. In this industry if you dont work, you dont get paid and I have paid dearly for that. Eating well and following programs like doesnt have to break the bank!! I shop in bulk, lean proteins, fruits and veggies are not that expensive and go a long way when you’re controlling your portions. YOU CAN DO IT…trust me, If I can you can. People will say s**tty things to you as they see you become a healthier, more confident self, but thankfully I dont give a s**t what people think and I just move on doing me. Here’s to continuing my health journey and hope to see some of you come along. ☺️
