Heather is one of my favorite people. Not only because she’s an incredible mom who is funny, kind, and full of heart, but because she is relentless in the best way. She never backed down when things didn’t make sense. For years, she advocated for herself, kept asking questions, and trusted her inner knowing when her body was asking for something different.
Living with hypermobility meant her journey required a different approach rooted in safety, awareness, and strength from the inside out. Together, we slowed things down. We listened to her nervous system, rebuilt trust in her body, and focused on isometric strength to support her joints while improving proprioception and control. It was never about doing more. It was about doing what was right for her.
I’m so grateful for the time we shared in our therapy visits and for the trust she placed in me, not only with her own care but with her children’s as well. Watching her thrive now and show up for herself daily brings so much joy to my heart. She puts in the work every single day, and I couldn’t be more proud of her for reframing movement, reclaiming her strength, and stepping fully back into her life.
