Back in May 2022, Lewis came to us with a huge challenge ahead of him.

After a dirt bike accident left him with a C4โ€“7 spinal cord injury, he spent weeks in neurological rehab just learning to move again. His goals were simple but powerful:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Get back to being able to work again
๐Ÿ‘‰ Regain the strength and flexibility to dress himself
๐Ÿ‘‰ Learn to move without his body locking up on him

The road was anything but easy โ€” physically and mentally, every step forward took effort. But Lewis showed up, trusted the process, and stayed consistent even when progress felt slow.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Elizabeth โ€œLizzโ€ Wilkins grew up in a big sports-oriented family, playing volleyball, basketball, and falling in love with football. But her journey into fitness and rehab began in high schoolโ€”after tearing her meniscus, she experienced firsthand how proper care and training can completely change an athleteโ€™s path.

๐ŸŽ“ Lizz went on to earn her Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Kinesiology (Sports Medicine concentration) from California Baptist University and is now finishing her Masterโ€™s in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) at CBU.

Sheโ€™s had the privilege of working with athletes across many sportsโ€”from volleyball to lacrosse and moreโ€”and her mission is clear:

1 top reason why I see people fail in their fitness goals is that they set a goal that doesn't align with what they actually want. Example...

Most common stated goal: lose weight
Most common actual goal: improve body composition - IE: look better and fit better in my clothes

THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM.

If you're trying to lose weight, you're tracking the scale.

If you want to improve tone and the way you look in (and out of ๐Ÿ˜‰) your clothes, you need to be tracking ๐—•๐—ข๐——๐—ฌ ๐—™๐—”๐—ง ๐—ฃ๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—–๐—˜๐—ก๐—ง๐—”๐—š๐—˜.

When you think about your fitness goals โ€” is it really about weight, or is it about how you look and feel? Comment below.

The scale will lie to you. You can look a loooooot of different ways at the 180 lb. The difference between all those ways, ๐—•๐—ข๐——๐—ฌ ๐—™๐—”๐—ง ๐—ฃ๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—–๐—˜๐—ก๐—ง๐—”๐—š๐—˜.

Health care costs are rising exponentially and our population is becoming increasingly more sick and tired.
