We all know it… the dreaded limp after a couch jump gone wrong or a playground wipeout.

Today’s unexpected walk-ins… 🐶🐶

At lunch, Dr. Oldenburg and Marissa discovered two dogs panting in our breezeway like they had just run the Santa Rosa Plateau loop.

Marissa immediately went into front office crisis management mode and escorted them into the break room cooling station while we began the highly sophisticated office protocol known as:
“Okay… whose dogs are these?”

For a brief moment Marissa thought we had just adopted two new clinic mascots.

Good news: after a little neighborhood detective work, both pups have now been safely reunited with their humans.

Bad news: the break room is now significantly less exciting. 🐾

Also… if your dog ever needs a safe place to cool off, apparently our break room is now a certified dog lounge. 😂🐾

Apparently hugging your brother-in-law is supposed to be awkward…but when he’s basically your brother, the trend doesn’t work. 🤷‍♀️🫤😂😍

Parent Heads-Up: The next post addresses a company decision we made regarding messaging involving children. We’re sharing transparently, but we understand this may feel sensitive for some families.

We believe parents deserve to know what enters the spaces that care for their children. On Friday, after reviewing recent marketing from a brand we’ve carried for years, we chose to end that partnership. Our office will not support the sexualization of children, ever.

This isn’t political and it isn’t about outrage. It’s about keeping our space consistent with the values we promise families.

You don’t have to agree, but we will always be transparent about decisions that affect your kids 🤍We will always choose people over profits. The remaining items in our office have been tossed in the garbage.
