THESE POLICIES WILL BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND WILL APPLY TO ALL CLIENTS.
I understand that sometimes it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, therefore, please notify me at least 24 hours PRIOR to your RESERVED APPOINTMENT TIME and I will gladly reschedule your massage. My goal is to always have ample time with each client for a thorough consultation and time needed to perform each massage.
If you cancel, change services or reschedule your reservation with less than 24-hour notice, it is possible you will be charged a fee or could be denied future services.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, which affects my hours worked as well as my paychecks. Appointments are confirmed in advance because I know how easy it is to forget, but because the service is reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply.
When you miss an appointment the first time without notification, you will get a freebie. The second no show will result in a fee of 50% of your scheduled services being charged to you and the third time 100% of your services will be due and you will no longer be rescheduled.
Please remember that it is your responsibility as the client to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the no show fee.
For all new clients, please arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment as there will be a client intake form that must be filled out before your massage begins, if you haven’t already done so online. This gives me a chance to look over any medical history and determine if there are any contraindications to receiving a massage or any adjustments that need to be made during the massage.
I understand when things happen that make us run late. It happens. While I understand fully that life happens and lateness does occur, please know that your massage time will decrease if you are late. If you are paying for an hour service and want the full hour massage that you are paying for, please make sure to arrive on time. I may have other clients or obligations after your massage.
I always strive to make my clients happy with their massage. I recommend scheduling your next massage prior to leaving your appointment. This will ensure that you will have an appointment time that best fits your schedule.
At Riots & Rebelles Salon, we love children as much as everyone else, but their safety is a priority. I would recommend not bringing children with you to your massage as they will not be allowed in the room with you. When someone allows their child(ren) to misbehave or run around the salon, it poses a safety risk for the child, clients and the stylists working downstairs. We have sharp implements, chemicals and extremely hot tools that are being used, if a child were injured it would be devastating for everyone, therefore we request that if you must bring your children to an appointment that isn’t for them, it be for a brief period and they must remain seated in the reception area at all times. If your child is there to receive a service and they become unruly, the service may be stopped and have to be rescheduled. This is to ensure the safety of the child and myself.
