Taking in sufficient protein is an important part of most weight loss plans. It helps to maintain AND build muscle mass. Protein is also very filling and can keep you from eating unnecessary calories. Getting sufficient protein during breakfast however can be a challenge. One way to start your day's protein intake on a good foot is to serve yourself a bowl of high protein Greek yogurt. You can add 1/2 to 1 full scoop of protein powder to the Greek yogurt and top it off with some delicious berries, which are low in sugar and high in anti-oxidants. Depending on the brand of yogurt and amount of protein powder added, you can get up to 40-50 grams of protein to start the day.
