Recognizing World Mental Health Day

At Bayview, we believe that caring for the mind is just as important as caring for the body. Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that kindness, understanding, and support can make a lasting difference. Whether it’s checking in on a coworker, taking time to rest, or simply listening, every action matters.

Let’s continue to build a community where mental wellness is valued, conversations are open, and no one feels alone.

Simple Ways to Beat the Heat!

Summer fun is great, but rising temps can be risky. Keep yourself cool and safe with these easy tips:

• Drink more water than you think you need. The CDC recommends drinking 1 cup (8 ounces) every 15–20 minutes when being active in the heat.
• Find or make a cool spot to relax. Shady trees or umbrellas can help.
• Plan outdoor activities for early in the day or later in the evening.
• Use sunblock or sunscreen and reapply regularly. A good baseline is every two hours. This helps prevent UV exposure and reduces the risk of skin cancer later in life.
• Know your risks. Children, those who are pregnant, and adults over 65 are at a greater risk of heat-related illnesses.
• Feeling off? Get help right away. Symptoms of overheating can include muscle cramping, unusually heavy sweating, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, and more.

Enjoy the sunshine safely while you're out this weekend!

Here’s to the amazing country we call home.

This 4th of July, we’re not just celebrating fireworks and summer fun—we’re celebrating the strength, resilience, and spirit of a nation built on freedom and opportunity.

We’re proud to live in a country where dreams are chased, voices are heard, and people come together when it matters most.

Grateful for the land we live in, the people who protect it, and the values that keep us moving forward.

Happy Independence Day—let’s celebrate America and everything that makes it truly great.

CGT 2025 RECAP – A COMPETITION LIKE NO OTHER

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost a month since CGT — our company-wide talent competition that brought teams from three different states together for something unforgettable.

When we first launched this idea, we never imagined the impact it would have. What started as a fun internal event quickly turned into a movement — not just within our walls, but across the entire healthcare industry. The buzz was real. The news picked it up. And suddenly, everyone was talking about Champions Gotta Talent.

What made it truly special? Our staff and residents. They didn’t just watch from the sidelines — they bought in, they showed up, and they were instrumental in turning this into something bigger than any of us anticipated. Their energy, creativity, and pride were the driving force behind the competition’s success.

This wasn’t just a talent show. It was a celebration of who we are.

We couldn’t be more proud of what we built — together.

Here’s the official recap video. Relive the magic.

Three states. One trophy. And a legacy that’s just getting started.
