🎉🎂 Celebrating September Birthdays!

On Friday, we had a special Happy Hour to honor all our residents and staff with September birthdays! We enjoyed a delicious cake, sang Happy Birthday, and captured the moment with a group photo of all celebrants. 📸💙

We’re so excited to continue this new monthly tradition and celebrate birthdays together every month! 🥳

Last Thursday, we gathered with residents, families, friends, and our amazing community to celebrate 1 Year of living on the lake shore —and what a perfect day it was! Blue skies, fluffy clouds, and plenty of laughter set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon.

🌟 Highlights include:
🎶 Live music by husband-and-wife duo Wyatt and Shari Knapp, who set the perfect vibe and even got people up dancing!
🎨 Pumpkin painting with Maria from Trinity Health At Home
🍧 Snowcones from Interim Home Care
🍎 Cider & donuts from Heartland Hospice
🍿 Popcorn from Centerwell Home Health
🍏 Our own apple dipping stand, hosted by Taylor, our Assistant Director of Dining Services
💫 Face painting with glitter (!!!) by La-La Land Face Painting
🐇🐥🐐 Critter Barn petting zoo featuring bunnies, chicks, goats, ducks, chickens, geese, and the star of the day—Harper Lee, the puppy!
🎈 Stunning balloon towers created by our volunteer, Chantel
👕 Custom anniversary shirts designed by our Admissions Coordinator, Terri, and printed by Shirts N' Stuff LLC—featuring the Sandhill cranes that call our community home. The shirts were all wore by our residents and team.

🎟️ AND a raffle with proceeds supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Residents enjoyed a festive afternoon filled with great company, tasty treats, and fun team spirit. We also had the pleasure of welcoming Billy Ryan for the very first time — and his music was a big hit! 🎶👏

We kept the holiday spirit going at Friday Happy Hour with Red, White, and Cheers! ❤️🤍💙 Even though Labor Day had passed, we weren’t ready to let the fun end — residents enjoyed festive drinks, good company, and lots of laughs. 🥂🎉

We had the best time at our Community Picnic — even with the chilly weather! Our friends from The Oaks at Jamestown came over to join in the fun. 🧺💙

Instead of outdoors, we turned the picnic into an indoor party with corn hole battles and board game showdowns. 🌽🎲 Lots of laughs all around!

After filling up on food and fun, we bundled up and took a stroll to show off our brand-new fishing dock. 🎣✨

What a great day of friendship, games, and new memories! 💕
