I like to experience other artist’s work while walking the quite galleries of an art museum. It influences me to remember what great “gifts” look like.

The desire to create and explore even when it’s your last dollar, your paint brush is getting old, your body hurts from spending way too much time on your project, you haven’t talked to friends in days, your were not sure how to begin but you started anyway….. ”Art” ….in its complexity.

sometimes we finish and sometimes we start over…..

But when finished, the peaceful yet vulnerability settles in, as the curtain draws back and your art is put on display. The world takes its first look…. And you sit back and enjoy the journey it took, as you graciously sell or give away your art.

Visiting the museum and learning ”the rest of the story” behind the art, is inspiring.

Thank you for honoring these ladies in art and giving their story a home.

Only a handful of museums in the U.S. have dedicated galleries for work by women artists.
